Hi! I'm Mandi. Artist, photographer and compulsive organizer. I'm here to help you customize your home, special events, or handmade gifts, without busting your budget!
how can i help you?Get festive... awaken the spirit of your favorite holiday by crafting up something fun for the occasion! It helps me feel like I've truly enjoyed the season before it whisks by and we're on to the next one. I have lots of tutorials for you to choose from, no matter which time of year is your favorite!
Save money... most of my projects involve felt, thread and glue, none of which break the bank. You can make something gorgeous for next to nothing, and you can't tell me that isn't satisfying! Make memories... I love sitting down with my daughter to craft together. No stress, no screens, just conversation and creativity. My girl started sewing with me at just 7 years old, and watching her talent grow has been incredible! Impress friends... c'mon, you can't tell me that you don't want to see the look on their faces when you tell them you made it! Sell stuff!... You have my permission to sell things in your personal Etsy shop or via other platforms, using my patterns and/or tutorials. Just kindly give me credit via a link to my site! |
who am I?I’m from the coast of NC, but landed in the snowy mountains of Colorado with my husband and daughter. I love boots and sweaters just as much as sand and sun, so I still don’t know where I want to live when I grow up. My dream is to have a home in each place so we can bounce between them!
I’ve been in the banking industry for over 15 years. It’s taught me a lot about real estate, managing finances, and given me a nerdy obsession with spreadsheets! Halloween is my favorite. Love the costumes, the weather, the classic scary movies that I watch every October... I start dreaming and planning before summer is even in full swing. The artist in me started sketching Disney characters when I was 10. It was something my very talented Dad and I shared, and I cherish that. |
In the end, I'm just like everyone else. I'm your average working mom who struggles with eating healthy while still justifying cheeseburgers and wine... making time for my family outside of doing their laundry and managing the checking account... penciling in friends' birthdays so I can take them out to lunch and make sure they know I love them... striving to be a minimalist but still needing those new boots for the fall... making sure my daughter knows I'm her biggest fan, but telling her to cut the dramatics before I lose my shit... saving enough PTO to visit out of town family and also a girls trip to a place on my bucket list... trying to get my dancer body back, but fighting the fact that aging is not my friend... dreaming of the fast-paced life in New York City that I never had, while at the same time wishing my small town was even quieter than it is...
Here's the thing. Life will never be perfect, and you know that. There are highs and lows. We wouldn't enjoy the highs without the lows. And at our lows, there would be nothing to look forward to without the highs. Just enjoy the ride, make the best of it, and look for the little joys. Those are the best ones. A sunset after a storm, a long hug with a loved one, a laugh with an old friend... the moments are there. You just have to appreciate them.
