This halloween countdown calendar and set of Halloween ornaments is just what you need to get in the spooky spirit! Celebrate with your loved ones for years to come with a handmade countdown, as you look forward to the special day. The finished felt hanging measures 20 inches wide by 48 inches tall. Finished ornaments will measure approximately between 2.5 and 3.5 inches tall.
The digital step-by-step instructions are easy to understand and the pattern is simple enough for all skill levels! It can be completed with a sewing machine or by hand-stitching.
Basic supplies needed are felt, scissors, embroidery thread, embroidery needle, fabric glue, and velcro dots. A complete, detailed list of sizes and colors is outlined in the PDF.
This is a digital pattern. It is a tutorial, not a finished product. Nothing will be physically mailed to you. You will receive step-by-step instructions to download, which includes a full-scale pattern to be printed out and used to cut the felt pieces. You'll receive an email from Etsy with a link to download your pattern to your computer. When you click on the link, a PDF file will open. Print the whole tutorial, or just the pattern page, and follow the instructions.

I love this darling advent calendar! I updated a few things, including adding an additional dowel at the bottom of the calendar for stability. I also purchased black rubber end caps for the dowels. I added an additional pocket for October 31, and used one of TheFeltPod's other designs, a little full moon, as my 31st item. I chose to use white velcro circles on the house and on the light colored felt characters so they wouldn't stand out as much. I'm SO excited to give this amazing calendar to my grandkids!!!!!
